Imagine an airplane with 560 small babies. There’s a stewardess that offers you a free upgrade to First Class. You’d be crazy not to take the chance, right? This is one of the examples used in the campaign we did for the 21st edition of Young Lions Portugal, to prove you’d be crazy not to enter the competition.
The goal? To inspire young talent in marketing and communication (with no exceptions) through the use of uncommon situations.
Young Lions competition is a unique opportunity to advance a career, generate awareness or even just to meet influential people. Considering this, and with the help of Travis (film production), Indigo (sound) and Fábio Kid Galindro (illustration), we used bizarre storytelling to prove that you’d be crazy not to enter the competition.
“It didn’t make sense to make this a “for creatives only” campaign, with the typical parodies of the job. Because creatives don’t need a campaign to participate. We searched for a concept and execution that could capture everyone’s attention. That’s how we got to “chances you’d be crazy not to take”, because that is what Young Lions actually is” – say comOn Creative Directors Pedro Ribeiro and Luiz Medeiros.
